Besan Mawa Laddoo/Gramflour Khoya Laddus

Besan ladoo is a very much popular North Indian sweet which can be made easily with less efforts. These laddoos are quick to prepare with simple ingredients, however my today's post is a dangerously addictive besan mawa laddoo aka gramflour khoya balls. Traditional besan laddoo asks for loads of ghee, however using khoya, the popular milk solids helps a lot to add small amount of ghee than the usual quantity. Store bought or homemade milk solids works prefect for making this fabulous sweets. If you love besan laddoo, trust me you will definitely fell in love with this beautiful sweet.

Easy to make, this cuties are simple to prepare. If conserved properly in an air-tightened box, these laddoos stays prefect for more than three to four days in room temperature. Do you know you can turn this laddoos as burfis as well. Yes if you dont know how to roll the cooked besan-khoya mixture as laddoos, just pour the khoya-besan mixture to a greased plate, once its gets cool completely slice them and serve them as burfis.

Firstly those mighty gorgeous ladoos are killer! I am a huge fan of homemade ladoos, even the most simplest ones I relish and eat and dont buy from out. I think we can control the sugar and make it nutritious too by adding nuts etc. I loved the use of khoya to the gram flour. Usually its just the flour and sugar with ghee but khoya would absolutely reduce the quantity of sugar in the recipe and make it more ideal for kids consumption.
